ACP Grand Slam Rapid
- The Grand Slam Rapid tournament is a new type of rapid events the ACP intends to promote. It is composed of two parts, the qualification event and the main tournament.
- The qualifier is held over two days. A Swiss system of nine rounds determines 24 players, after possible tie-breaks at a faster time-control if necessary. These 24 players then play one round of knock-out matches to determine 12 qualified players to the main event.
- The main event is held over four days. It is a series of knock-out matches starting with 16 players. ACP Points are distributed as shown below.
- The 12 qualified players will be joined by four invited players. The wild-cards will be granted by the ACP Board in consultation with the organizers. It should be noted that players invited directly to the main part and knocked out in the first round will not score any ACP points.
